The Key To Congruence

Congruent Leadership Development Workshop Announced for June 2006

The Congruent Leadership Development Workshop is a three-day intensive training for leaders, managers, owners, consultants, trainers, and other change agents based on the methods and teachings of Virginia Satir and led by master trainer Jean McLendon, LCSW, LMFT.

You will become part of a community of learners that will include leaders from many industries — pharmaceutical, information technology, nonprofit and banking — serving in diverse roles, from executives to team leaders and frontline managers. However, anyone who is in a position to influence others, whether you are in a "formal" leadership position or not, will benefit from this workshop.

The mission of the Satir Institute of the Southeast (SIS) is to foster congruence by increasing the number of individuals and systems adept at using the models and methods of Virginia Satir.

  • Enhancement of individual uniqueness rather than categorization
  • Use of authority to guide and accomplish "what fits," rather than forced compliance, tyranny or power
